Course credit information
Starting with the 2006-2007 school year, all of the courses that were previously 1 credit courses have been changed to two half credit courses.  There is no such thing as a 1 credit course any longer.  Requirements for graduation and promotion are stated, for example, as "4 credits of Language Arts are required for graduation."  This statement actually means that the student will take 2 courses of English I Honors - ½ credit each, 2 courses of English II Honors - ½ credit each, etc, so that the student will *actually* take eight half credit courses of Language Arts to meet the 4 credit requirement.
