UF is proud to announce the ninth year of the Lombardi Scholarship Program. In addition to a substantial educational stipend, Lombardi Scholars are given the opportunity to pursue research with some of the University's most talented faculty and to enhance their academic interests through study abroad and internships. Stanton can nominate ONE student. Nominees must rank at or near the top of their class, demonstrate significant academic achievement through course work, writing and research, service to the community, student and community leadership, and evidence of a strong moral character. Deadline to Guidance for the preliminary application is January 28 – non-negotiable - there will be a quick turnaround as it is due at UF on February 1. The scholarship committee will choose Stanton’s nominee. Complete an application from www.honors.ufl.edu/lombardi and bring it to your counselor by 1/28.
