Summer Schools in/around Jacksonville
Please note that these are all private schools - Duval County Public Schools does not endorse any non-public schools. The schools on this list offer honors level courses for students who need them for promotional purposes. A letter of permission MUST be obtained from Stanton before registering at any of these schools.

Florida Virtual School (FLVS): Although FLVS offers courses during the summer months, it is not a "summer school." Students can start a course but expect to complete a semester course in 18 weeks and a full-credit course in 36 weeks.

Duval County Summer Extended School Year. The core courses listed are not honors level and thus are not transferable back to Stanton with the exception of Pre_Calculus, which will transfer back to Stanton. If you intend to transfer to your neighborhood school for next year and you need to retake a course to be promoted, these courses would be a good option for you.
